Our Elders

Bob Huber

Robert "Bob" Huber has been attending Cedar Run since 1988 with his wife, Susan and their children.  Now grown Rick, with his wife Christine, Steve and Kristen all still attend Cedar Run.  Since 1989 Bob has served as church treasurer while also serving on the Elder board.  He feels blessed to serve with Susan and others for many years with the church’s Global Ministry.  He also enjoys playing on the church’s softball team.  Bob sees our church as biblically sound with a strong emphasis on relationships and caring for others.

David Morris

Pastor David Morris started pastoring at Cedar Run in May of 1994. He graduated from law school in 1980 and practiced law for 15 years before being called to preach. David has been married to Nadeeda since 1983 and together they have 4 children and live in the Herndon area.

Matt Milstead

Matt Milstead and his wife Wendy live in Centreville and have three daughters.  Their family has been coming to Cedar Run since 2005, which was a natural fit due to the fellowship and the many other families they knew who were attending.  As well as serving on the Elder Board, Matt attends a weekly Bible study, and is involved with supporting the Cedar Run youth group and Younglife.

Tony Syme

Tony Syme has been a business executive in the engineering and technology industry for over 25 years.  He and his wife Phyllis have made the Chantilly/Herndon area their home since 1989.  Together they have three children Matthew, Kate and Molly who have attended or are currently attending Texas Christian University and Chantilly High School. Tony is also involved in the community through activities with Young Life and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

John White

John White and his wife Carrie have been attending Cedar Run since 1998.  John is a member of the Worship Team and serves as Worship Producer.  John and Carrie have two children, Chris, 22, and Heather, 19, both attending James Madison University. John has been a member of the Arlington County Fire Department since the late 70’s, currently serving as Assistant Fire Chief.  The Whites came to Cedar Run through a relationship with the Morris’ when the family’s boys were in the same pre-school and kindergarten classes.  John & Carrie are truly blessed by the relationships they have at Cedar Run.
