Heart2Heart Dinners

Our Heart2Heart dinners are a wonderful way to spend time together sharing a meal, singing songs and hearing a short devotional. The dinners are held quarterly and are a great opportunity to go deeper in our relationships with other women and spend a more extended time together in a relaxed setting. Ladies new to Cedar Run are especially encouraged to attend because of the chance to get to know others better. Friends of Cedar Run ladies are always welcome.

Ladies Night Out

A few times a year we gather together for a fun time crafting, or watching a movie, or to complete projects for an outreach. We have made Christmas crafts, handmade cards for servicemen & women and decorated bras for an American Cancer Society auction. The evenings are held on a Friday night here at the church. It’s a causal and relaxed time for all ladies of Cedar Run and their friends.

Christmas Brunch & Tea Outreach

During the Christmas season, the Women’s Ministry hosts a delightful Christmas Brunch and Tea. The brunch is designed to share with women the wonderful message of God’s great gift to us at Christmas. Cedar Run ladies are encouraged to invite friends and family who need to hear the true meaning of Christmas. The morning includes singing Christmas songs, enjoying a delicious meal and listening to an invited speaker share the Christmas message.

Ladies Annual Retreat

An annual Retreat is held each year to provide the opportunity for ladies to spend in-depth time building relationships with other ladies while focusing on our relationship with Christ. Special retreat speakers from outside of Cedar Run are invited to come and share about a specific topic to aid in our spiritual growth. There is music, good food, fun and much and laughter. Past retreats have been in Lancaster, PA, Williamsburg, VA, St. Michael's, MD and Shepherdstown, WV.

Conferences

Periodically, the Women’s Ministry hosts an exciting conference, usually through a simulcast. In the past we have had Beth Moore and the EWomen ’09 conference. The day includes lunch together and good solid teaching relevant to today’s women.
