Outreach Opportunities
5th Quarter
5th Quarter is a weekly event at CRCC every Friday night from September to November directly after the local high school football games. The 5th Quarter is a safe, student friendly event in which we offer food and drinks, movies, video games, outside activities and a fire pit (when the weather permits) and other fun things to do. It is an opportunity for students in Middle and High school to bring their friends, who may not have a church home, in hopes that they may be encouraged enough by what happens at the 5th Quarter to start coming to Cedar Run and learn about Christ.
Capernaum
This joint ministry with Young Life is geared to students with mental and physical disabilities. It is a way for our student ministry to show Christ’s love and acceptance to these kids. We gather once a month on a Saturday and spend time growing friendships by either having pizza and hanging out, doing karaoke, going to Cox Farms, hosting a Valentine’s Dance and much more. We encourage our students to get involved with these awesome kids!
