Pastor David started pastoring at Cedar Run in May of 1994. He graduated from law school in 1980 and practiced law for 15 years before being called to preach. David has been married to Nadeeda since 1983 and together they have 4 children and live in the Herndon area.
Mark placed his faith in Christ as a child and is grateful for the church youth group he was involved in for his teen years. He grew up in Northern Virginia and has enjoyed a career in Civil/Environmental Engineering. Prior to pastoring in England and the USA, he earned a seminary degree from Moody Graduate School in Chicago. Mark is happily married to Karen and they have two daughters and two sons. In his spare time (what’s that?) he likes sports, attempting home handyman projects, and reading.
Tim Danehower and his wife Joyce have attended Cedar Run since 2001. They have four children and live in Chantilly. Tim enjoys teaching at our Sunday morning adult education class, Cornerstone. He is a long time advisory board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and serves on the board of Keystone Christian Ministries. He spends a great deal of time volunteering as a youth league basketball and baseball coach. Tim has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 25 years.
Bob Huber has been attending Cedar Run since 1988 with his wife, Susan and their children -- Rick and his wife Christine, Steve, and Kristen all still live in the area. Since 1989 Bob has served as church treasurer while also serving on the Elder board. He feels blessed to serve with Susan and others for many years with the church’s Global Ministry. He finds it a joy to see CRCC partnering with Christian organizations and missionaries serving locally, in other parts of the US and in many foreign countries. Bob sees our church as biblically sound with a strong emphasis on relationships and caring for others.
Matt Milstead and his wife Wendy live in Herndon and have three daughters. Their family has been coming to Cedar Run since 2005, which was a natural fit due to the fellowship and the many other families they knew who were attending. As well as serving on the Elder Board, Matt attends a weekly Bible study, and is involved with supporting the Cedar Run youth group and Young Life.
Tony Syme has been a business executive in the engineering and technology industry for over 25 years. He and his wife Phyllis have made the Chantilly/Herndon area their home since 1989. Together they have three children Matthew, Kate and Molly who have attended or are currently attending Texas Christian University and Chantilly High School. Tony is also involved in the community through activities with Young Life and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
John White and his wife Carrie have been attending Cedar Run since 1998. John is a member of the Worship Team and serves as Worship Producer. John and Carrie have two children, Chris, 24, and Heather, 20. John recently retired as Assistant Fire Chief of the Arlington County Fire Department after 32 years of service. Presently, John is the Director of the Northern Virginia Emergency Response System. The Whites came to Cedar Run through a relationship with the Morris’ when the family’s boys were in the same pre-school and kindergarten classes. John and Carrie are truly blessed by the relationships they have at Cedar Run.
