Dear Cedar Run Family,

We know this can be a stressful time for you, but we desire to come together as a church family to love and support one another.

We strongly encourage those who are higher risk for the coronavirus, particularly older adults and those with current medical conditions or compromised immune systems, to stay at home as much as possible during this time. With that said, we know this brings extra challenges. Our goal is to connect those with needs to those who are willing and able to fill those needs, like grocery pick up and drop off. Please know that all requests will be kept confidential.

If you would like to volunteer to help, please contact us here.

If you have specific needs for help, please contact us here.

Contribute financially by giving toward the Cedar Run Church Fund here. Thank you for your generosity!

Our church staff is here to help in any way that we can, please feel free to reach out to us directly at any time via email.
If you have a prayer request, please click HERE.
If you have a need, please contact Michelle Woodell and we will work to help you.
If you have a pastoral need, please contact Pastor David Morris.

Additionally, any questions regarding office/building items can be directed to Michelle Wooddell.
For any communications questions or questions about how to access our recorded sermons/stream, please contact Sandi Mitchell.

No matter what you’re going through, you are not alone and we are in this together.

Other Ways To Help

Even in the midst of a global pandemic, we still have the opportunity to share the love of Christ and care for the community around us. We are sharing information about a couple of local ministries who are accepting donations to help our surrounding communities.

YoungLives:
Young Lives is looking to support their teen moms with a monthly supply of essential items. In particular, we have needs for diapers, baby wipes, and a few other staples. We would welcome anyone who wants to participate in helping fulfill these needs. You can view the YoungLives Fairfax Amazon Baby Registry to order the specific items needed. Donations are being collected by one of the Young Lives Mentors, who lives in Herndon. Please contact Phyllis Syme if you have questions or need more information.

Western Fairfax Christian Ministries:
WFCM is open and continuing to provide food and financial assistance. We have made changes to our operations in response to the guidance provided by the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control, and Fairfax County Department of Health. Food will be provided pre-bagged and our client services appointments to assist with funds for rent and utilities will be handled via telephone to reduce close contact for our clients, volunteers, and staff. We are not accepting individual household donations and encourage those who want to provide food or toiletries for our clients to consider making monetary donations online or ordering and shipping food items to our office using our Amazon wish list as a guide which is set up for single-serve items for kids to eat while schools are closed. Thank you for your continued support of our operations to ensure we will meet the needs of the community.

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7
