Heather was born and raised in what she believes is the best Virginia (West Virginia). The daughter of a baptist pastor and youngest of four siblings, she grew up always wanting to help, love on and nurture children. In 2005, Heather married her husband, Will, and moved to Chesapeake, VA where they lived for 8 years before moving to Herndon in the summer of 2013. God led their family to Cedar Run in 2015. Heather jumped at the opportunity to answer God’s call to have her serve Him and His children at Cedar Run in the Nursery, Toddler and Preschool ministry in 2017. Heather has spent the majority of her life looking after little ones in various capacities from working in the nursery within her previous churches, to babysitting, to being a full time nanny, and as a mom of two young children. She spent several years working for Family Christian Stores where she was an assistant manager. It is her goal to provide a safe and happy environment where children can begin to learn and grow in their faith.

Blake has been a pastor at Cedar Run since 2015. He enjoys preaching and discipleship and loves to try to explain how the gospel works in every day life for believers. Blake has been married to Tracy for over 30 years and they have three adult children.

Zac has been serving on staff at Cedar Run since 2021. His parents both attend and serve on cedar runs worship team. Having been trained in Live Sound Engineering and Worship Leading by many career touring engineers and worship leaders, he has a specific passion for discipleship, excellence, leadership when it comes to music and technology.

Outside of music, he has a passion studying for theology, philosophy, psychology, and bringing people together in unity under Christ. He serves on the leadership team for a young adult worship collective called Commonwealth Worship, local to the DMV. He also supports many different churches from all different denominations and styles in technical production installs through a company he runs with his housemate, another tech director in a local church.

Lee was born in Monterey California and moved to Northern Virginia in 1981. He came to the Lord in 1996 and to serve as the Worship Leader at Cedar Run in 2000. Lee then left in 2002 to become involved in multiple church plants. He returned to Virginia in 2010 and God called him back to Cedar Run in June 2014. Lee has been married to Barbara since 1997 and they have 2 daughters, Susanna and Ashley. Lee’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11. In his spare time, he loves studying cosmology, restoring classic cars, sports, the Oakland Raiders and the Washington Capitals.
